All the ways a “when” question can be answered soon™ : A joke on the overuse of the non specific answer, that became so common it might as well be an official trademark
Between now and the heat death of the universe : often used by the Devs in a Spectrum forum post asking a when question thursday : NOT Thursday the real day. Non capitalised “thursday” is the same as “soon” – non specific, not serious answer that shows nobody knows the answer, including staff
Tevarin:
Tevarin are best fried / Guess who’s coming to dinner (as dinner)
Tevarin, being bird like, are subject to insults from anti xeno types.
Beginning with veterans who used gallows humor to cope with the aftermath of war and to express anger towards an enemy, the creation of the trope that “Tevarin are best fried” is one of the most popular slanders that still persists in the mindset of citizens with an anti alien mindset
Any marketing slogan that references chicken is reformed to use Tevarin instead.
